Not syncing with Apple Health

Hello, I'm using the latest version of Sonar (as of today) with iOS 18.4.1. The app is struggling to connect with Apple Health, it keeps getting an error saying sync wasn't able to finish last time. I keep the app open for several minutes, at some point the progress bar dissapear but without syncing. I really love the UI and planning to subscribe, but this error is super annoying. Photos attached, also sent a log.

FYI - new build available for testing on the App Store

Byron hello, update arrived. Removed apple health from list, updated the app, added again health with all permissions on, now it's syncing correctly. Good job!

Luca Madalin Great news - thanks for checking

We've submitted an update to Apple that we believe should fix the issue. When Apple releases it (likely tomorrow), would you mind testing again and letting us know?

Byron, hello! Yes of course, will update as soon it will be available. In the meantime, I tried something else and so far so good. I unninstalled/reinstalled the app and from Apple Health permissions I only checked the most important ones and dismissed the unnecessary readings as headache, menstruation, sexual activity and other similar functions that I never want to track or find them relevant. Also, I changed sleep sources to only 2 apps that I find useful. I took the advice of your colleague Anne as she was suggesting that maybe it's a conflict with a 3rd party app and I think she was right about it. Now the app is syncing just fine and that error gone away, but I will gladly update the Sonar app when it will be available (as I do for most of the apps, I like to keep them updated). Thanks for your customer support, that means a lot. You're doing a great job, it's by far the most intuitive health app that I tried so far, UI is slick!

Luca Madalin: appreciate that Luca, and glad to hear Anne was able to point you in the right direction. When the update is available, would be great if you could temporarily try:
- removing Apple Health
- then re-syncing Apple Health with all permissions enabled, just so we can confirm the fix indeed worked.
Appreciate it!

Byron, yes, will do that as well to see if the update will fix the original issue. I'll be back here right after.

Another thing: are you aware of the missing photos on several metrics? I attached a print screen.
Byron
Luca Madalin: yea thanks for flagging. We'll be adding photos for those shortly. We're also exploring adding support for icons instead of photos.

Thanks for sending over the logs. Just took a quick look and I believe I've tracked down the issue you're encountering.
We'll run some tests internally today, and if all goes well, we should have a fix submitted to Apple by end of day.
It should hopefully be available on the App Store for you to give a try by tomorrow.
