Sleep and nutrition sync not working properly.

I woke up at 6 but my sleep was updated on Sonar by about 11am. Also i had fish and my protein in apple health is 50+ grams but in Sonar it shows like 5 grams.
Why such sync issues and does it do the data processing on device or on cloud?
I should bot have to wait until midday to get health updates.

First, regarding the sleep data: when you noticed it missing from Sonar, was it already visible in Apple Health at that time? Sleep data often doesn’t appear immediately in Apple Health after waking — especially if your wake time is earlier than usual. That delay comes from how Apple Health handles sleep windows, not from Sonar itself.
It’s also worth noting that our daily summary notification is scheduled by default to arrive at 11 a.m. — it isn’t tied to when your sleep data is received. That may have contributed to the confusion. You can adjust the timing of this notification by tapping the bell icon on the top right of the home screen and then selecting “Settings.”
As for the protein discrepancy — that definitely shouldn’t happen and sounds like an uncaught edge case. Would you mind sending us logs so we can investigate? You can do this by opening the Profile tab in Sonar, scrolling to the bottom, tapping the Version number three times, and then selecting Send Logs.
To answer your last question: Sonar uses a mix of cloud and on-device processing, depending on the data sources synced. Most wearable data is already stored in the cloud (via Apple, Garmin, Fitbit, etc.), and we securely process it through our servers. You’re always in full control — we never sell or share your data, and if you disconnect a device, its data is permanently deleted from our system within seconds.
